Critical Bastards Magazine is an emerging creative forum of criticality as a response to contemporary visual art in the island of Ireland and beyond. This is the twelfth issue of CBM. Through both invitation and open call contributors respond to the theme Resourcefulness. This theme invites ways to think and talk about material, use and necessity. Resourcefulness is defined as the practice of reusing stuff and stuff-less stuff such as waste, words, memory, ideas, thoughts and texts. A collection of reviews, text-works, thought pieces, critical writing and fiction by artists and writers make up the issue.
