This Wednesday 18th of January sees this year’s MA ACW class launch their publication ‘States of Alteration’ in the foyer of the Harry Clarke at 6pm. All are welcome to attend, chat to the students about their work and grab a copy!
‘States of Alteration’ is an exploration of postmodernism developed from conversations which took place over the course of the autumn trimester. Taking key texts from theorists including Judith Butler, Jean-François Lyotard and Emmanuel Kant as starting points, the ACW class have developed works exploring the postmodern condition as it is shaped and contorted by interfaces of time, language and body.
