Tunnelling Art and Physics

We’re a bit late with this one but there just might be some wine left if you run down to Temple Bar Studios really fast. Exhibition runs until June 9th so there is still plenty of time to catch it if you miss the opening tonight. Full details as follows:

Tunnelling Art and Physics is an exhibition of collaborative work by 17 students from Fine Art NCAD and UCD School of Physics . Through a dynamic process of sharing knowledge, identifying points of shared interest and studio/laboratory experiments a fascinating body of work has evolved. The work on show explores questions common to both art and physics. By bringing scientific and artistic methods of investigation together these questions emerge anew, in a refreshing and thought provoking bridge of communication between the two disciplines.

The exhibition will open on Thursday May 31, 6–8pm and will continue until Saturday June 9, at Temple Bar Gallery+ Studios – The Atrium. Access to the exhibition from June 3-9 will be through the side door of Temple Bar Gallery & Studios. All are welcome.

Tunnelling Art and Physics is part of The Dublin City of Science programme.
