Opening this Wednesday evening at 6pm is Teresa Gillespie’s new exhibition, Along The Borderland Bends, which consists of photography, sculpture and video. Teresa describes her work as follows:

Weaving through all my work is an ongoing engangement with borderlines: the lines that distinguish and facilitate the encounter with otherness, and borderlands. Borderlines and borderlands can be spaces of conflict as it is always a meeting of difference, but it is also a space full of potential for sensuousness.

Teresa is based in Dublin and is a graduate of the Glasgow School Of Art and the Royal College Of Art, London. She has exhibited in Ireland and internationally, and undertaken numerous artist’s residencies. The exhibition is curated by Jonathan Carroll. We have been assured that there will be both free beer and bretzels at the opening.
