IMMA’s Rising continues with Primal Rising at the Chapel this Friday night. Created in response to the new exhibition Primal Architecture (featuring work from Mike Kelley, Jeremy Deller, Conrad Shawcross, Kevin Atherton, Linder, Jesse Jones and Bedwyr Williams), the questions of identity, power, authority and non-compliance are carried through to Primal Rising.
Rousing sets are promised from emerging noise-makers SISSY (pictured above, a punk garage band that includes members of Complan, Swing Youth, Sept Girls, not to mention a member of our current ACW class) electronic duo FAUNE (Will St. Leger and Sarah Byrne) and iconic Manchester DJ Chad Jackson.
