Quotidian, Illuminations Gallery, Maynooth University, is a new seven-channel video installation developed through engagement with seven people based in Co. Kildare who partake in the national Weather Observation Network. The exhibition considers institutional systems of weather recording, meteorology and the planetary climate, in addition to local social systems embedded within communities such as the people who operate the Weather Observation Network.
Quotidian & Every Single Morning publication was supported by a Creative Ireland Bursary Award through Kildare County Council Arts Service.
The event is on Temple Bar Gallery +Studio’s website and the Facebook event page.
